Hello, I'm Samantha!
I am an illustrator and designer from the Kansas City, Missouri area. I am currently an Illustration student at the Ringling College of Art and Design, class of 2025.
I am skilled with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as as a wide range of traditional mediums, from pen-and-ink to watercolor. I love using traditional textures and hand lettering in my digital work to give it a handmade feel!
I grew up in a small town of only 8,000 people in western Missouri, but I often imagined I was in fantastical worlds of my own creation. I always had a sketchbook in hand, drawing everything in my head from heroic princesses to mythical beasts and everything in between.
In high school, I dreamt of moving somewhere where I could hone my self-taught skills and learn new ways to create art with other artists my age. I have since begun my journey at Ringling College, my dream school, and I am very excited to get to work and create some magic.
When I am not making art, I love exploring new activities and hobbies, reading fantasy novels, and getting a sweet treat with my friends.
